Elect Ben to Huntington Beach City Council

It began with a summer road trip, my wife and I were travelling throughout the country and when we visited Huntington Beach, I instantly knew I had found where I belonged. A welcoming coastal community where the neighbors and the surf had something in common, friendly waves. HB has been my home since 2008. It is where I formed connections and grew roots, gave back and paddled out to wait for the next set.

Lately though, our city has gone from an inviting beach town that just feels right, to a partisan battleground that’s just far right.

Instead of civic engagement, we get voting restrictions. Instead of filling potholes, our city council files frivolous lawsuits.

I am running for City Council because we deserve a City Hall focused on residents’ well-being, delivering core services and listening respectfully to everyone.
